Megan has just concluded a number of Governance training sessions for Community Sector Banking in partnership with local Community Bank Branches across Gippsland. The Tasmanian Men’s Shed Association is the peak body for Men’s Sheds in Tasmania and earlier this year we engaged Megan to provide governance training to many of our members. Apart from being extremely knowledgeable, Megan was able to facilitate the training in a way that all attendees understood. She created an environment that was inclusive and comfortable for our men to learn new skills. The training was interactive and enjoyable and of great benefit to those that attended. Megan worked with three different volunteer community groups to ensure there was a shared level of basic governance understanding and then supported each of them to develop a Strategic Plan.

Each plan was in line with the group’s goals and also met Council’s expectations in terms of the direction we were hoping each group would move. Megan provided an excellent level of communication and support back to Council around the process, and is now providing regular check-ins and support to help them implement their aims.

We have been very pleased with the outcomes and would definitely use Megan’s services again in the future.
