I am a big believer in the importance of good leadership being critical to effective governance and management within our not-for-profit organisations – or any organisation for that matter. But all too often I see organisations where this is not necessarily the case.
Whether it be at Board or CEO level, good leadership – and this includes self-leadership – is so important in establishing and maintaining a strong and ethical culture that underpins everything else the organisation does.
So it was an absolute delight to speak with Rita Cincotta on her Deliberate Leadership podcast recently about the importance of good leadership in the work that we do (and we talked about some other interesting stuff too!)
