Our Community provides a range of great resources and supports to not-for-profit organisations across the country.

For any organisation needing to develop new policies, I would highly recommend first checking out Our Community’s Policy Bank.  There you will find many policies that other organisations have developed and put on the Policy Bank to share with organisations like yours.  These provide a great starting point for you to develop your own policies using theirs as a template.

Our Community Matters is the regular free e-newsletter put out by Our Community, which you can sign up for to get lots of great ideas for your organisation – the latest updates on what is happening across the not-for-profit sector, information on grants and events, various tips, freebies and ideas that may help you in the work your group does.
The Funding Centre Scoop is a monthly e-publication put together by Our Community containing all the grants currently open within your state and across the country.  It only costs $85 per year for community groups to receive and is well worth it with all the information it contains each month.

Pro Bono Australia called Our Community’s annual Communities in Control conference ‘the biggest and best annual not-for-profit sector gathering’.  Held at Moonee Valley Racecourse in May each year, the two-day conference is for anyone with an interest in the not-for-profit sector, and it always provides a program packed with lots of high profile speakers from across the community, government and business sectors who have an interest in community matters.

That’s just a snapshot of some of the great things Our Community offers.  Check out their website at www.ourcommunity.com.au for further information.
