Effective Board Orientation practices are critical to properly welcoming and setting up your Board newcomers for a successful and enjoyable experience in their governance role with your organisation.

But all to often I see new Board recruits being left to work things out for themselves without any proper induction or support provided by their new Board.

So improving Board Orientation systems and processes has become a key focus area of mine over recent years, particularly as I find it is the natural progression from the important work I do to help inspire NFPs to strengthen their organisation’s Succession Planning practices.

And to provide you with some initial guidance in how to improve your Board Orientation practices, I recently ran a webinar to highlight my 10 top tips for better Board Orientation.

So if this is something your organisation needs to do better, check out the webinar recording HERE and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries.

I do hope you enjoy my presentation.

And if you think I can help your not-for-profit organisation to better manage your Board Orientation, do get in touch with me at megan@mjbconsulting.net.au, or book in a zoom Discovery Call with me HERE to talk about what your organisation needs.
